Con il 2021 che si avvicina alla fine, sempre più piattaforme stanno raccogliendo i dati di tutto l’anno e rilasciando elenchi sul meglio del meglio con il kpop che domina anche le classifiche di Billboard.
La Corea del Sud domina nella maggior parte dei campi, che si tratti di Netflix o delle classifiche musicali. Da YouTube, Spotify e Apple Music alla giapponese LINE, alla sudcoreana Gaon e alla statunitense Billboard, il Kpop ha praticamente preso il sopravvento. Ciò è evidente con gruppi Kpop molto popolari come BTS, NCT e Blackpink che sono presenti nelle classifiche di fine anno di Billboard per il 2021.
I BTS hanno superato la presenza in 10 classifiche di fine anno di Billboard nel 2021. Lisa d’altra parte è l’unico idol Kpop femminile in classifica quest’anno. mentre il suo gruppo Blackpink con ‘The Album’ è il primo gruppo femminile ad essere nella Billboard 200 per due anni consecutivi dalle Destiny’s Child 20 anni fa.
NCT, Seventeen e TWICE sono anche entrati con più album mentre SuperM ha avuto la classifica con il loro album di debutto. Abbiamo anche gruppi di quarta generazione come Itzy, TXT e il gruppo rookie Enhypen che entrano nelle classifiche.
