Melon Music Awards 2022 hanno annunciato ufficialmente i candidati per la cerimonia di premiazione di quest’anno, che si svolgerà il 26 novembre alle 18:00 KST ( ore 11 italiane). Solo gli artisti che hanno pubblicato musica tra l’8 novembre 2021 e il 3 novembre 2022 saranno idonei per i premi di quest’anno.
Le votazioni sono ora aperte per i premi Top 10 di Melon, che saranno assegnati a 10 artisti in base all’80% dei loro conteggi di download e streaming di Melon per l’anno e al 20% in base ai voti. I voti per i premi Top 10 conteranno automaticamente anche per il premio Artista dell’anno, che sarà determinato in base al 60% al download di Melon e allo streaming, al 20% alle valutazioni dei giudici e al 20% ai voti.
Melon ha anche aperto le votazioni per otto premi aggiuntivi, tra cui Album of the Year e Best Song of the Year, che saranno tutti determinati sulla stessa formula 60-20-20 con un’eccezione: il Netizen Popularity Award sarà determinato in base al 40% al download di Melon e al 60% ai voti.
Altri premi che non sono stati inclusi nella votazione online, come Record of the Year e Music Video of the Year, saranno determinati interamente in base alle valutazioni dei giudici e alle prestazioni di Melon.
